Privacy notice

Silver Lining Roofing, a trading name of Cardus Construction Ltd (registered in England and Wales no. 15220953; registered office: 11 Brindley Place, Brunswick Square, Birmingham B1 2LP) ("we") is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you book a free inspection we collect your name, mobile number, email address, postcode, when suits you for a visit, any notes you add, and the roof details you entered in the price calculator. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also see your WhatsApp name and number.

The price calculator itself doesn't collect anything about you until you choose to book.

Why we use it

Only to arrange and carry out your roof inspection, give you a quote, and do the work if you go ahead. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you. We don't send marketing, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.

Who else sees it

Our website host (Netlify) processes booking forms and emails them to us. WhatsApp (Meta) handles any messages you send us there. Both act on our instructions.

How long we keep it

If you don't go ahead, we delete your details within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep records for as long as your guarantee lasts plus 6 years, for tax and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us on WhatsApp on 07729 091346 or by email at info@silverliningroofing.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
