What to do now

1. Keep safe.
   If water is near light fittings, sockets or the fuse box, switch off the electricity at the main switch and keep away.
2. Catch the water.
   Buckets and towels under the drip. If the ceiling is bulging, put a bucket underneath and keep people out of the room.
3. Move your things.
   Shift furniture, electricals and anything precious out of the way.
4. Take photos.
   Of the leak and any damage. Useful for your insurer and for us.
5. Don't go on the roof.
   Wet roofs are lethal. Leave it to us.

What we'll do

We'll make the roof safe and stop the water, usually by refitting slipped tiles or sheeting over the damaged area. Then we'll give you a price to put it right properly. If it's storm damage, tell your insurer as well; we can send you photos and a written quote for them.
