Gutters, fascias and soffits
Blocked or leaking gutters cause more damp than most people think. We clean, repair and replace gutters, and fit new uPVC fascias and soffits that never need painting.
What they do
Fascias are the boards along the edge of the roof that the gutters hang from. Soffits close in the underside of the overhang. When old timber ones rot, water and birds get into the roof.
Our options
- Gutter clean: moss and leaves out, downpipes checked, the gutters flushed through
- Gutter repair: re-sealing leaking joints, re-aligning sagging runs, new brackets
- New uPVC guttering: gutters and downpipes replaced
- New fascias and soffits: old boards out, new uPVC in, with ventilation where the roof needs it
- Capping: covering sound old boards with uPVC, cheaper when the timber is still good
Signs it's time
- Water spilling over the gutter in heavy rain
- Green streaks down the brickwork
- Flaking paint, soft wood or gaps along the fascia
- Birds getting in under the eaves
